On the 17th of July, thirteen Year 10 health and social care students from Chaucer Secondary School, Sheffield had a unique opportunity to visit the The Chocolate Works Care Village York this gave the students an opportunity to explore careers and understand career progression in social care. The people who reside at the Chocolate Works have different needs and care is provided for people who need residential care, nursing care, specialist dementia care, and palliative care. Students had an opportunity to meet some of the people and the staff who work at Chocolate Works.
