On Friday the 22nd of May from 11:00am until 12:00pm we are running our National Allied Health Professions weekly webinar on AHPs support to care home residents – the ‘what’ and the ‘how’ of good practice. The webinar will include presentations from:

  • Kate Jackson, Professional Advisor (AHP), Ageing Well and Community Services Programme, NHS England & NHS Improvement
  • Emma Self, Delivery & Policy lead, Enhanced Health in Care Homes, NHS England & NHS Improvement
  • Sam Sherrington, Head of Community Nursing, Sam Sherrington, Head of Year of the Nurse and Midwife 2020, NHS England & NHS Improvement

As this webinar is hosted through ‘MS Teams Live Events’ we have the capacity for up to 10,000 people to join the webinar, so please feel free to share the above link in this invitation with whomever might be interested to join.

Key things to note about the webinar:

  • You should open the joining link in Google Chrome and select the option to ‘watch on the web instead’. From there you can join anonymously or sign in with your details. Screen shots attached.
  • Please join around 5-10 minutes before hand to get situated and comfortable with the platform.
  • You will see a hold screen stating ‘this event has not yet started’ so please wait while we prepare to send the event ‘live’.
