The Role will be to support the E-Procurement Team and the wider Procurement Department with a range of Business and Clerical duties, The E-procurement Team are in the main responsible for the day to day processing of purchase orders for the Trust this covers the ordering of a wide range of products on a paperless electronic Purchase to Pay Procurement System. It is a busy and efficient Department whose customers include internal Trust departments and external customers e.g. other NHS Trusts, suppliers and any external organisations.

The Pathology department at Barnsley Hospital has 2 vacancies for full-time Medical Laboratory Assistants to join our well-established Central Reception team, supporting the Biomedical Scientists. The department is well-equipped and fully-computerised with the recent addition of the Siemens APTEO Automation System.

The department will require cover from the Medical Laboratory Assistants from 6am – 10pm. (Please note a shift pattern consultation is due to commence and the hours of work are subject to change).
