Secretary in Barnsley

An opportunity has arisen for a Secretary/Administrator to work with the Health Integration Team based in Barnsley. The team works across Barnsley and Wakefield and although this post will be based predominantly in Barnsley, the post holder will be required to travel to Wakefield to our other sites. The successful applicant will be part of a proactive team assisting with the orientation of people new to the country and from other marginalised groups to local health systems and helping people to access mainstream health services.

It is essential that applicants have substantial experience of working in a customer focused office or reception environment as well as good verbal/written communication skills and data input experience. Experience of dealing with people with different cultural backgrounds and beliefs would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate must be available to travel in connection with the post and work flexibly as required.
